Description

A group of seven chest tombs is located approximately seven meters east of the chancel of the Church of St Peter and St Paul in Aldeburgh. These tombs date from the early 19th century and are constructed of brick, with some featuring stone facings. The unfaced tombs are simple in design and topped with stone slabs, while the ashlar-faced monuments have baluster corners that vary in design.
