Description

Hill Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 16th century, with a mid-20th century wing that is set forward, creating an L-shaped plan. The building is timber framed and plastered, featuring concrete pantiles on the front and clay pantiles on the rear. It has two storeys and a three-cell plan, which originally included a cross passage entry. The windows are primarily mid-20th century large pane casements, with one 18th century diamond leaded window located at the rear. There is an internal stack and a mid-20th century boarded door in the modern wing. The interior has been modernised but retains some good exposed timbering.
