Description

Kelsale Hall is a house dating from the early 19th century, although it incorporates an earlier core, likely originally a farmhouse. The facade is of white brick, with red brick to the rear, and a slated roof. The house is three storeys high and has a seven-window front, arranged as a 2:5 pattern. It features inset sash windows with glazing bars, each with a flat brick arch above. The front door consists of paired three-panel doors with raised and fielded panels, panelled reveals, and a semi-circular fanlight with glazing bars. A portico provides entrance, featuring Doric columns and pilasters, an entablature with triglyphs, and a modillion cornice. To the right-hand side of the building is a full-height, semi-circular three-window bay with a wooden modillion eaves cornice.
