Description
Pond Farmhouse is a late 18th-century farmhouse constructed of red brick, featuring pebbledash render on the gable ends and rear, topped with a thatched roof. The building has two storeys and an attic, with a facade that is not quite symmetrical, showcasing three windows that include both two-light and three-light casements set under segmental arches. The original doorcase is notable for its engaged columns, a frieze decorated with lozenge motifs, and a cornice; it contains an inset half-glazed 20th-century door with panelled reveals. There are gable end stacks, with the one on the right likely having been enlarged and now partly external. The gable ends are finished with parapets, and there is a single-storey pantiled addition to the right.
