Description

The Statue of Atlanta is located on the North Lawn at Somerleyton Hall. This Grade II listed bronze statue, created by G. Natorp in 1895, is approximately three-quarters life size. The figure is depicted as a naked woman holding an apple in one hand and poised to pick up another. The statue stands on a rectangular stone plinth and is part of a garden that is included in the Historic Buildings and Monuments Commission County Register of Gardens at Grade II*.
