Description
Linstead Hall is an early 19th-century farmhouse with a 17th-century service range at the rear. The main part of the building is constructed from red brick and features a plain tiled roof. It has two storeys and an attic, with a symmetrical three-bay facade. The original windows include two-light and three-light mullion and transom casements set under segmental arches. The entrance has a six-panel door, with the upper two panels being glazed. There is a brick modillion eaves cornice, three gabled dormers, and slightly parapeted gable ends that include integral stacks. The rear service range is timber framed, now mostly covered in brick or cement render, and also has two storeys with various casement windows. The timber frame is visible on the first floor. The property is situated on a moated site.
