Description

Nos. 18 to 22 New Street form a group. The building dates to the 18th century and is two storeys and an attic in height. It has a mansard roof covered with tiles and pantiles on the upper slope, featuring three dormers. The brickwork is red, with No. 22 colourwashed. The front has three sash windows with glazing bars, beneath segmental arches. The tympanums above the arches are decorated with a fluted and fan pattern; side windows retain some original glazing bars. Modern three-light splay bays are also present. The doors are mostly six-panel, with No. 20 featuring a four-panel door, all set within elliptical arches.
