Description
Shadingfield House is an early 19th-century house constructed of red brick with a hipped roof covered in black pantiles. It has two storeys and features a symmetrical facade with three slightly inset sash windows that have glazing bars and are set under flat brick arches. All the front windows include blind boxes. The entrance consists of an inset six-panel fielded door, a plain segmental fanlight, and panelled reveals, framed by a pilastered doorcase that has corner rosettes and a cornice. At the rear, there are flanking screen walls, each topped with a stone lion; the wall on the right was altered in the 20th century.
