Description

This early 19th-century building comprises two houses, 22 and 24 St John’s Road. The houses are two storeys high and have a cement-rendered façade with lining. They have slate roofs, with hipped forms, and brown brick chimneys with eaves soffits. Each floor features two flush-frame sash windows with glazing bars, and a blank panel at the first-floor level. The entrances are paired in the centre, consisting of six-panel doors set within wooden cases with mutular cornices. Winged additions, set back and single-storey, flank the main block on both sides. Numbers 10 to 24, even numbers, form a group.
