Description

Nos 9 and 11 on St John's Street were built in 1852 and are mid-19th century, three-storey buildings with three windows, constructed of yellow brick. They feature a slate roof with an eaves soffit. The buildings have sash windows with glazing bars and gauged flat arches. No 9 has a wooden shop front, while No 11 has a four-panel door with an oblong fanlight. These properties, along with the Catholic Church and Manse, and Nos 15 to 21 (odd), form a cohesive group.
