The Cottage is a 17th to 18th century timber-framed and plastered building located on Parsonage Lane in Chelsworth. It has one storey and attics, featuring small casement windows. A modern gabled porch projects from the front of the building. The roof is thatched and includes one gabled dormer at the front, along with a central square chimney stack. Additionally, there is a modern extension with a tiled roof at the west end.
