Description

Newton Green Stores and House adjoining is an 18th-century red brick house that stands two storeys high with attics. At the north-west end, there is a single-storey addition featuring a double bay shop front that extends outward. The main section of the building has three windows, which are double-hung sashes with glazing bars set in flush cased frames, topped with white brick flat arches. A white brick band runs across the front between the storeys. The entrance features a central six-panel door, with the upper panels being glazed, framed by a moulded wood architrave and cornice. The roof is tiled and includes end chimney stacks, stopped gables, and three flat-headed dormers. Additionally, the front of the building is adorned with a brick dentil eaves course.
