Description
The Saracen's Head Inn is a timber-framed building primarily from the 18th century, with some remnants of an earlier structure. It has been altered and renovated in the 20th century. The inn is designed in an L-shaped plan, featuring wings that extend to the north-west and south-west. It stands two storeys tall, with a five-window range on the south-east front, mostly consisting of 20th-century casements, and a two-window range on the north-east front, which includes double-hung sashes with glazing bars. The ground storey features two canted bays and a central doorway adorned with pilasters and a pediment. The roof is tiled and has a large square central chimney stack located on the south-west wing.
