Description

No. 6 on Lady Street is a timber-framed and plastered building dating from the 15th to 16th century, featuring a steeply pitched tiled roof and an old chimney stack that has been partly restored. The building has two storeys, with the upper storey jettied across the entire front. It has a range of three windows, primarily modern casements, along with one restored mullioned window. The entrance is marked by a modern boarded door. Originally, this structure served as an inn.
