Description
Nos 47 to 51 and 53, known as Gregory Cottage, are a two-storey terrace built in 1692, with the central part (Nos 49 and 51) having been remodelled. No 47 is likely from the 17th century. The first floor is finished in stucco with a front gable, while the ground floor is painted brick. The building features a steep tiled roof and flush frame sash windows, which still have glazing bars on the ground floor. There is a six-panel door. Nos 49 and 51 are made of mid-19th century yellow brick with red dressings and have slate roofs. Gregory Cottage, likely originating in the 17th century, was altered in the 18th century and has a two-storey stucco finish with a front gable and a tiled roof. The flush frame sash windows now only have central glazing bars.
