Description

The Temple is a 19th-century building located at the west end of a large fish pond and is likely the former fishing lodge of Tendring Hall. It features a square main block with a large canted bay on the west front, flanked by two wings that have sloping roofs on the north and south sides. The east front is two storeys high and has a three-window range with double-hung sash windows that include glazing bars. The roof is slate, low-pitched, and has a wide overhanging eaves soffit with modillion detailing.
