Description

The Crown Inn is an 18th-century timber-framed and plastered building featuring a late 18th-century brick front that is now colourwashed. It stands two storeys tall, with a four-window range on the first storey and a three-window range on the ground storey. The windows are double-hung sashes with glazing bars, set in flush cased frames, while the ground storey windows are three-light. There are two doorways; one has a six-panel door, and the other is adorned with pilasters, a semi-circular fanlight, and an open pediment. The roof is tiled, has a double span, and is hipped at both the east and west ends, featuring a wood modillioned eaves cornice.
