Description

PRESTON ST MARY LAVENHAM ROAD 1. 5377 Rise Farmhouse TL 95 SW 32/919 II 2. Originally a C15-C16 timber-framed and plastered building standing at right angles to the road. A wing was added to the west at the north end in the C16-C17 and it was refronted in the C18. The original block is jettied on the upper storey on the west side. Roof pantiled (modern) 2 storeys. Three window range (paired windows on the ground storey) of double-hung sashes with glazing bars. The interior has exposed timber framing.
