Description

The Old Post Office and Hatherley Cottage is an 18th to 19th century timber-framed and plastered building featuring a red brick front, which is partly painted. The roofs are tiled and have a mansard design, with end chimney stacks and a central ridge chimney stack. There is a later addition at the southeast end of the building. It has one storey and attics, with casement windows and four flat-roofed dormers arranged in pairs.
