Description

Manor Farmhouse is a timber-framed building dating from the 16th and 17th centuries, significantly altered in the early 19th century with a grey gault brick front, a parapet, and a stone cornice. The roof is tiled and includes a ridge chimney stack. The farmhouse has two storeys plus attics and features a five-window front with double-hung sash windows with glazing bars, set within painted stone architraves. A raised stone band runs across the front, separating the ground and first floors. A Tuscan porch with plain columns and a cornice projects from the front, leading to a three-panel door. The house is situated within a moat, which includes a bridge.
