Description

MILDEN BOXFORD ROAD 1. 5377 Owl's Farmhouse TL 94 SE 41/746 II 2. A timber-framed and plastered building of C16 origin but much altered in the C18-C19 and a jettied upper storey was underbuilt. In 1900 a brick wing was added at the rear at right angles to the main block. Two storeys. Two window range on the front, one window range on the gable end and 3 window range on the rear wing. All the windows are double-hung sashes with glazing bars. A gabled porch projects on the front. The main block has a ridge square chimney stack.
