Description

Redhouse Farmhouse is originally a mediaeval hall house that has been altered and extended across the 16th to 17th centuries, with 18th-century window replacements. The farmhouse is a timber-framed and plastered building with a tiled roof. A ridge chimney stack rises from the centre, featuring three octagonal shafts with moulded caps and bases on a rectangular base. Large external chimney stacks with table offsets are located at the north-west and south-east ends. The farmhouse is two storeys high, with a six-window front featuring double-hung sash windows with glazing bars. A modern gabled porch projects from the front, accessed via a farm road from Flowton Road.
