Description

Church Farm is a 16th to 17th century timber-framed and plastered building that features the remains of a moat. The structure has been significantly altered and renovated over time. Originally, it included a cross wing at the north end, but it now has a tiled roof that is hipped at both the north and south ends. A 19th century print depicts the house with the cross wing. The building stands two storeys high and has small modern casement windows. Inside, there are some exposed timber-framing elements, including ceiling beams and joists, as well as a ridge chimney stack.
