Description

Malting Barn Cottage is a 15th-century timber-framed and plastered hall house located on Garrison Lane in Great Waldingfield. It features a small cross wing at the north end and has a jettied upper storey on the west front, supported by curved brackets. In the 17th century, a floor was added to the hall range, and the house was extended. The building has two storeys, and the windows are 20th-century casements. The roof is thatched and hipped.
