Description

This is a cartshed located approximately 40 meters north of Fenn Farmhouse, dating from the mid-19th century. It is constructed of red brick with a brick plinth and weatherboarded gables, featuring shallow buttresses at the rear and a slate roof. The structure has six bays and an open front supported by wooden posts. Inside, the roof is primarily made of sawn timbers, including tie beams and collars. This cartshed is part of a cohesive farmstead group that includes Fenn Farmhouse and two barns located about 30 meters northeast of the farmhouse, illustrating the development of the farm from the 16th to the 19th century.
