Description
The Church of All Saints is a significant 14th and 15th century building made of flint and stone. The chancel was mostly rebuilt in 1878. The nave and aisles date from the 14th century and feature castellated parapets with chequer work on the nave and stone on the aisles. The west tower, built in the 15th century, has angle buttresses with chequer work on the faces, a castellated parapet, and a stair turret. The south porch includes flush work panelling, set back buttresses, and three open niches. Inside, the nave roof is supported by double-hammer beams adorned with shields displaying royal emblems at the lower ends, along with monograms of James I and Charles I. The interior fittings consist mainly of 15th century benches with poppy head bench ends and an 18th century octagonal pulpit.
