Description

No. 5, Egremont Street is a timber-framed building, originally dating from the 18th and 19th centuries, and altered in the 20th century. It is two storeys high with a four-window frontage. The windows are double-hung sashes with vertical glazing bars. The south end features three-light windows with narrow side lights. A 20th-century shop front occupies the north end. The roof is tiled, with a gambrel at the south end. The interior retains original heavy ceiling beams. It was formerly listed as No. 15, the premises occupied by W J Cutting.
