Description

Dorking Tye House is an early to mid-19th century red brick house. It has a symmetrical design with a three-window front on the south, east, and west sides. The windows are double-hung sashes with glazing bars, set in plain reveals and topped with stuccoed flat arches. The ground floor windows extend down to floor level. A central glazed door is located on the south front, surrounded by a plain stucco frame. The roof is slate and hipped. The group value of Dorking Tye House lies in its contribution to the character of the surrounding area.
