Description

Lower House Farmhouse is a 16th to 17th century timber-framed and plastered house, designed in an L-shaped plan with wings extending to the south and west. The building has two storeys, and the windows are primarily three-light leaded casements. At the south end, there is an 18th century bay window featuring double-hung sashes with glazing bars. The roof is tiled and includes a notable 17th century chimney stack with a diagonal shaft set on a rectangular base.
