Description

Tudor House is a timber-framed and plastered building located on the east side of The Causeway in Hitcham. It features a cross wing at the north end, which is medieval in origin, while the main block dates from the 16th to 17th century. The roof is thatched and half-hipped at the south end, and the building has two storeys. The upper storey showcases exposed timber-framing and includes casement windows. There are two early 19th-century windows with pointed arched heads and arched glazing bars in the upper part. A modern gabled porch is present, along with three gabled dormers on the front and a ridge chimney stack.
