Description

Gayhurst is a timber-framed and plastered building dating from the 16th to 17th centuries. It originally had a thatched roof and a central ridge chimney stack. A later extension was added to the north end, and the south end has been refaced in brick. The building is one storey high with attics. It features small casement windows, and two dormers are visible on the front. The interior retains heavy exposed ceiling beams and joists.
