Description

The Old Rectory is a building originally constructed in the 15th to 16th century as a timber-framed house, though it has undergone significant alterations and is now faced in red brick. The structure features cross wings at both the north and south ends. It has a tiled roof and a large internal chimney stack. The central block is one storey with attics, while the cross wings are two storeys high. The windows are double-hung sashes with vertical glazing bars, and there are two modern gabled dormers on the central block. The building has been extended at the rear. Inside, there is a notable crown post roof.
