Description
Kerseys Building is a malthouse granary range built around 1840. It is constructed of English bond red brick and features a hipped slate roof with dentilled eaves over the granary, while the malthouse has a gabled corrugated asbestos roof. The building has a rectangular plan, consisting of a 2-storey, 11-window range malthouse to the south of two 3-bay granaries. The windows have segmental arches and are barred with iron, while the north elevation of the granary has a central plank door, and there are plank doors leading to the malthouse. Although the interior was not inspected, it is noted to have original germinating and granary floors supported by iron and timber posts. A 20th-century block attached to the south end is not considered to have special architectural or historic interest.
