Description
The King's Arms Inn is a building from the 16th and 17th centuries that has been significantly restored. It is a two-storey structure with a timber frame and plastered exterior, topped with tiled roofs and featuring cross wings on the north and south sides. The upper storey of the north cross wing extends outward on curved brackets, which still show remnants of moulded capitals and shafts. The main block also has an upper storey that projects in a similar manner. There are two small gables on the main block. The ground floor has undergone considerable alterations and now features modern windows designed in an old style with diamond panes. The walls are all covered with light washed pebble-dash. The King's Arms Inn, along with Nos 109 to 113 (odd), forms a group.
