Description

Nos 73 and 75 Benton Street are two adjoining buildings, likely dating from the 16th century. They feature pebble dash between the exposed timbers in the upper storey. Although the exterior has undergone significant alterations, the interiors may still hold historical interest. These two-storey buildings are timber framed with plastered filling and have tiled roofs. The upper storey projects at two different levels on the west front, supported by curved brackets, with exposed joists. Nos 69, 71, 73, and 75 form a cohesive group.
