Description

Nos. 69 and 71 Benton Street are two adjoining buildings, probably dating to the 16th century, though significantly altered externally. They are part of a group with Nos. 73 and 75. The buildings are timber framed and plastered, with pebble dash infilling between the exposed timbers in the upper storeys. The roofs are tiled. A cross wing is located at the north end, with the upper storey projecting. Two gabled dormers are present. The buildings likely retain interior interest. The National Monuments Record holds photographs of the property.
