Description

Shimpling Place is an 18th-century timber-framed and plastered house located on the north side of The Street in Shimpling. The building has been renovated and altered in the 20th century and stands two storeys tall. It features a three-window range with three-light 20th-century casements. The entrance includes a 20th-century doorway designed in an 18th-century style, complete with a semi-circular ornamental fanlight and a flat hood supported by brackets. The roof is tiled and has a mansard design.
