Description

Ashton House is an 18th-century, two-cell lobby entrance house located on the north side of The Street in Shimpling. It is timber-framed and plastered, featuring one storey and attics. The house has a two-window range with casement windows and a central doorway. The roof is steeply pitched and covered with pantiles, and it includes a central chimney stack along with two gabled dormers.
