Description

Kings Bank is an early to mid 19th century timber-framed and plastered building with a slate roof, located on the southeast side of The Hill in Polstead. Originally a range of three cottages, it now incorporates a small thatched cottage to the north, which serves as a studio. The building stands two storeys tall and features a two-window range of double-hung sashes with glazing bars. There is a central doorway adorned with pilasters and a cornice hood, along with end chimney stacks. The adjoining studio is single-storey and includes a studio window in the roof, small casements, and a central doorway. This property is included for its group value.
