POLSTEAD THE HILL 1. 5377 (south-east side) Kings Bank TL 9938 62/877 II GV 2 An early-mid C19 timber-framed and plastered building with a slate roof. A small thatched cottage adjoining on the north is now incorporated as a studio. (Formerly a range of 3 cottages). Two storeys 2 window range of double-hung sashes with glazing bars. Central doorway with pilasters and a cornice hood. End chimney stacks. The studio adjoining on the north is single storeyed with a studio window in the roof, small casements and a central doorway. Included for group value.
