Description

Green Cottage and Hillside Cottage are a range of three timber-framed and plastered cottages, built around 1723. They have thatched roofs and were restored at an unknown date. The cottages are one storey high with attics. They feature small casement windows with glazing bars and boarded doors. Three dormers are present, two of which are gabled with tiled roofs. Two ridge chimney stacks and an external stack at the north end are also visible. A modern plaque commemorates that Charles Cheston, a painter, lived at the property between 1939 and 1960.
