Description
Hintlesham Hall Lodge is a mid-18th century lodge made of red brick with a rendered plinth and a tall hipped tiled roof. The building is rectangular in shape with a gabled wing at the rear and stands two storeys high with three bays. On the ground floor, there are two recessed sash windows with glazing bars and a central six-panel door set in a plain doorcase. The first floor features two six-pane sash windows and a central casement, all of which are positioned beneath flat arches. A plat band runs around the first floor and continues around the returns. On the right-hand return, there is one ground floor sash window similar to those below, and on the first floor, there is a 20th-century three-light casement. The lodge is topped with a tall brick stack that has two recessed panels on each face and four square attached shafts set diagonally.
