Description

The walls of the burial ground of the Friends Meeting House date back to 1692. They are constructed of low red brick and feature most of the headstones arranged against the northeast side. The earliest legible gravestone dates to 1841, although many others have decayed inscriptions. For further historical context, see "History of Sudbury" by Grimwood and Kay, page 67.
