Description

This is an early 19th-century building of three storeys, located on the north side of Gainsborough Street. It comprises two properties, numbered 28 and 30, each featuring a single window. The building is constructed of grey brick with a slate, hipped roof and eaves soffit. The windows are recessed sash windows with glazing bars, each topped with a rough segmental arch. Number 29 has a six-panel door. The shop front has been altered, particularly at the corner of Gregory Street where it has a wide splay, pilasters and a toothed entablature, with consoles. The building is included on the listing for its group value alongside numbers 28 to 38 on Gainsborough Street.
