Description

Spooner Row Church is a chapel that was originally built as a school in 1843 by John Buckler. It is constructed of brick and features a slate roof. The building has a nave and a small sanctuary located at the east end. There are six bays on both the north and south sides, which are separated by stepped buttresses. The windows are single plain lancets that sit under square hoods with label stops. The church has angle buttresses on both the east and west sides. The west end includes a plank and muntin door to the right, with two lancet windows above and a third lancet window in the apex of the gable. The roof is gabled, and the sanctuary at the east end is also low and gabled.
