Description
Chestnut Farmhouse, formerly known as Pratt's Farm, is a farmhouse dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of brick and features a roof made of black glazed pantiles. The building has two storeys and is arranged in three bays, with each bay marked by rusticated quoins. The central entrance consists of a half-glazed door set within panelled reveals and is topped by a flat hood. The windows are sash style, with exposed boxes and glazing bars, and are adorned with gauged skewback arches. A timber eaves cornice runs along the top, and the hipped roof has a flat section. There are two stacks, one on each return, and the rear portion of the building has been rebuilt to include two bays.
