Description

Picton Farmhouse is a 16th-century timber-frame house that has been plastered. The end walls are faced with brick, and the north end features a parapeted gable. It has a steep tiled roof with gabled ends and an off-centre brick chimney stack that has four octagonal flues with moulded bases. The building is two storeys high with an attic, which includes attic windows in the gable ends. There are 18th and 19th-century modern casements, along with one small three-light mullion window located under the eaves. A small modern gabled wing is present on the west side, while a large modern one-storey bay is located at the south end. Additionally, there is a modern flat roof addition on the north end.
