Description

Spreadingoak Farmhouse is a 17th-century timber-frame house that has been plastered and features a brick plinth. It has a steep pantile roof with gabled ends and a large brick chimney stack that is off centre. The house has no storeys and includes attic windows in the gable end. The 18th or 19th-century, three-light casements have leaded panes, and there is a plank door located in front of the chimney stack. The west wing forms an L-shaped plan and is one storey with an attic, also constructed from plastered timber-frame.
