Description
Boden House is a 16th-century timber-frame house that has been plastered. It features a later, lower pitched pantile roof with gabled ends and a large brick chimney stack positioned off centre. The building has two storeys and an attic, with an attic window in the gable end. Most of the windows are modern casements. There is a 19th-century brick porch located in front of the chimney stack. To the north-east, there is a long, two-storey, 17th-century timber-frame wing that forms an L-shaped plan. This wing is also plastered and has a pantile roof with gabled ends and a central brick chimney stack. Additionally, there is a south wing from the early to mid-19th century, made of painted brick and featuring sash windows with glazing bars.
