The cottage has a thatched roof with gabled ends, partially covered with pantiles, and consists of one storey and an attic. It has three gabled dormers, each with 3-light casements that include glazing bars. A central brick chimney stack is present, and there is a later wing at the north end that has a pantile roof. The date "1729" is displayed in the gables of the dormers.
