Description

The Grange is a timber-framed house, likely built in the 17th century, with roughcast and partly brick-faced walls. It features a steep pantile roof with gabled ends and a projecting gabled wing on the west side. The house was extended in the 18th century at the north end and has two storeys plus an attic. The windows are 19th-century sashes with glazing bars and casements. On the east side, there is a mid-19th-century addition made of buff brick, with a black pantile roof and coped gable ends. This addition has two storeys, five windows, sashes with glazing bars, two splayed bays with sashes on the ground floor, and a large brick porch at the center.
